The fantastic thing about Shreveport is our tight-knit sense of community. Couple that with our southern hospitality and we should have the perfect recipe for alluring great bands to our neck of the woods. However, the general consensus among locals is that Shreveport can’t draw great bands. A group of us have decided to take matters into our own hands and create a climate that will maintain the sort of cultural ecosystem we desire.

At each Document and Dinner event, a dinner party will be given in honor of touring bands. A film crew will document the entire evening, including performances, interviews, and conversations. These events will be open to the public, and will rely on the support of locals.

After each event, the footage will be collected, edited, and posted here in podcasts. Ideally, we will shoot enough footage to generate a full-length documentary as well.

Improving the quality and quantity of bands willing to play in our area will take more than wishes and complaints. Join us to support independent music and better our community!
